Attend this intensive 2-day training and learn how:

To get ready for PSD2 on time
To comply with XS2A without losing to TPPs
To understand the scale and scope of PSD2 transition
To handle risks and responsibilities related to PSD2
To set an API Banking project up
To serve and retain young clients: The API Banking Generation
To compete and cooperate with FinTech partners
Course Description:
This intensive 2 day training program prepares participants for two key challenges of the upcoming three years in banking: PSD2 and API-Banking. On the first day we take an in-depth look into the specific challenges PSD2 brings to banks. We discuss the key dates of the regulation coming into force, we clarify key concepts such as 'Third Party Provider', we look into the 'Access to Account' sub-regulation in detail. We analyse the business risks as well as the IT risks related to the Payments Services Directive 2. On the second day we look at the broader topic of API-Banking. We discuss closed-, partner-, as well as public-APIs. We look at global best practices of how APIs can close the competitive gap between banks and FinTech companies.

What is the goal of this training?
The goal of the first day of this training is to make participants aware of the ways PSD2 is going to affect banks in Europe; to prepare participants to take the right actions related to the new directive and to understand the key risks related to the upcoming regulatory change. The goal of the second day of this training is to make participants understand the forces behind the shift API-Banking is about to bring along. It is our goal to draw clear picture of the 'platformification' of banking, the 'opti-channel' thinking (following the current trend of omni-channel banking) and the ways banks can take smart advantage of the 'open-banking' business model.
